Campus Master Plan Update – December 2018
During the fiscal years of 2018 and 2019, the College shifts from renovation and construction capital improvements to a proactive planned maintenance plan to invest in physical assets of the College. Examples of completed or projects in process are; roof replacements for building 3 on the Prescott campus and Career and Technical Center (CTEC), drainage improvements at CTEC and Prescott, water line replacement at Prescott and central plant tie-in at Verde.
In 2018 the final project of Phase 1C of the Campus Master Plan Phase 1C was designed and construction implemented at the Prescott Valley Center to be completed during the summer of 2019.
This project consists of two phases; the first phase is the buildout of the second floor for Regional Economic Development and Small Business Development space along with classrooms to support the growing population of Prescott Valley was completed in November 2018.
The second phase will consist of the renovation of space on the first floor vacated when the northern Arizona Training Academy (NARTA) moves to building 29 on the Prescott Campus. This second phase will consist of student service functions for enrollment, advising, testing and financial aid along with a science lab, a lab for Rad Tech., enlarged classrooms and computer lab. This phase will be complete and ready for the fall semester 2019.
The College has entered the planning stage for Phase 2 of the Campus Master Plan which includes Renovating building L on the Verde Valley Campus for workforce development needs and a multipurpose facility (field) on the Prescott Campus.
